Benalla/Glenrowan - Soaked in heritage since the 1800's

Benalla rests on the edge of Victoria's high country on the broken river. For Ned Kelly enthusiasts, a visit to the district is a must. Benalla was the epicentre of Kelly gangs bushranging days and promotes the Stringy Bark Creek site along with the Kelly Gangs camp site.
The nearby town Glenrowan is the gatekeeper of Ned Kelly history. Glenrowan was the site of the final seige and capture of the Kelly Gang in 1880.
